[Ocfs2-users] OCFS2 Tools 1.2.3 released

All,

We are pleased to announce the release of OCFS2 Tools 1.2.3. This release
is fully compatible with the OCFS2 1.2.x and the OCFS2 bundled with the
mainline Linux kernel 2.6.20 (and earlier).

The summary of changes in this release are as follows:
* Backup super block support added
* Local mount support added (works with OCFS2 in kernel 2.6.20 and higher)
* icheck command in debugfs shows the inode# that is using a given block#
* Heartbeat thread's io priority can now be set (works with OCFS2 in 
kernel 2.6.20 and higher)
* O2CB service no longer offline's cluster when hb is active (bug fix)
* Bugs fixed in fsck, debugfs and console

The packages for Oracle Enterprise Linux 4 are available. Use
"up2date ocfs2-tools ocfs2console" to update to the latest release.

SLES users will need to contact Novell to obtain the binary packages
for this release. The source patch has been made available to Novell.

The packages for the Red Hat's EL4 on x86, x86_64, ia64, ppc and s390x
architectures are available in the Download section.
