*** Upcoming Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 and CentOS 4 End of Regular Life
Cycle ***

As you may know, the End of Regular Life Cycle[1] for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 4 will occur on 2012-02-29. This will also be
the end of updates[2] for CentOS 4 (including CentOSPlus 4). On this
date, Oracle will desupport Ksplice Uptrack for both RHEL 4 and
CentOS 4.

*** What this means for our customers ***

* No new updates

Oracle will no longer be releasing new Ksplice updates for RHEL 4 or
   CentOS 4.

* Existing systems will not be affected

No updates will be removed from your systems currently running
Ksplice. Your systems will remains in the same state before and
after the End of Regular Life Cycle. If your systems reboot for any
reason, they will still have the same updates after the reboot.

* You will not be billed for unsupported systems

You will no longer be billed for your systems running RHEL 4 or
CentOS 4. The last bill they will appear on is the bill that
   contains the date 2012-02-29.

In order to continue to receive rebootless updates, we recommend that
you make plans to upgrade your current RHEL/CentOS 4 systems before
2012-02-29.
