Why we want to disable this or that feature? if the feature is ready
to release, then it should be distributed and anyone should be able to
use it. If its not, then it should be in a release only under
CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL and any sane distribution would not peek this
config directive.
This is how it works in Linux (normally). This habit of adding module
parameters everywhere in OFED was rejected on the spot by Roland et al
from the upstream code. I don't think RDS should be different, unless
you want to --tag-- it with lower standards compared to the rest of
the Linux kernel IB stack and/or any other upstream driver.
