[Libaio-oracle-devel] purpose of the libaio-oracle-0.3.0.tar.gz file?

Hi,

On the http://oss.oracle.com/projects/libaio-oracle/dist/files/ website there is a download for libaio-oracle-0.3.0.tar.gz.  What is the purpose of this download?  Does it replace the .rpm files needed for async io, specifically for a RH/EL 3.0 install for 10g?

Any help would be appreciated.
