[Firewire-users] Request for step-by-step instructions on setting up firewire drive with Oracle RHEL5.1

I have recently purchased a Dell T105, and installed a StarTech 3-port Firewire card.  The system recognizes the firewire card, but does not automount the Maxtor 1-Touch Plus that is attached.  Anyone with a link, or other form of instruction would be sincerely appreciated.
