[Firewire-users] Firewire Drivers for Oracle Linux Kernel

I have it working with openSuSE 10 about two month back. I don't
remember the exact kernel release. You can check kernel for openSuSE at
their website.
 
I tried it with a Seagate drive and had similar issues in discovering
via OS. It works like charm with Maxtor ones.

Did anyone manage to get the firewire modules working for the latest
Enterprise Linux kernel?
I am having difficulties in getting the firewire driver identifying
device.  Any known issues?
