The reason for the failure is a bit too complex to put in the xfail msg.
I will file a bug for it because it is a bit more involved. I have some
ideas about solving it but nothing concrete yet.
Not sure what .r file would suffice here but we can tackle that when we
have a solution for the problem of non-scalar dynamic variables. (Which
incidentally makes me wonder why this test is in unittest/scalars.)
