Description of changes:

- Reverted patch for STR #3563 as it does not fix the original problem
  and may well introduce further regressions (bug #601516).

[1:1.3.7-18:.6]
- Removed 5s wait_bc loop in the socket backend (bug #612964, STR #3495).

[1:1.3.7-18:.5]
- Adjust texttops output to be in natural orientation (STR #3563).
  This fixes page-label orientation when texttops is used in the
  filter chain (bug #601516).
