Oracle is pleased to announce the general availability of
Enterprise Linux 4 update 5 for x86 (32 bit) and x86_64 (64 Bit) 
architectures.


This update includes the following kernel changes:

    * nfs open call taking longer issue [ORA 5580407]
    * enomem due to larger mtu size page alloc [ORA 5486128 ]
    * per_cpu() api bug_on with rds [ ORA 5760648]
    * limit nr_requests in cfq io scheduler [ORA 5899829]
    * fix entropy flag in bnx2 driver to generate entropy pool [ORA 5931647]
    * Firmware update from Intel

    * Quad-core processors
    * RDTSCP (Read Time-Stamp Counter Pair)

    * EDAC (Error Detection and Correction) on AMD Opteron
    * Adaptec Aurora SAS/SATA controller
    * Pathscale IB adapter
    * Intel Pro/1000 PT adapter, ICH8 LAN, and Intel Dual Port 1Gb 
Ethernet PCI-Express adapter
    * Broadcom BCM5787M, the Broadcom 5715 PCIExpress adapter and the 
Broadcom 5704S chip
    * LSI MegaRAID drive
    * LSI Logic SAS ZCR
    * ULi M5289 SATA controller in sata driver
    * SLIM expansion card on JS21 in qla2xx driver.
