I don't think Kishore or other non-Oracle contributors on the public 
rds-devel list can access that, unfortunately.

But, try looking at this git repo's solaris-support branch, which may be 
pretty close to what you want:

This contains the patch needed to build rds-tools on Solaris. We have a 
long-term goal to have both Linux and Solaris rds-tools build from a 
single unmodified source tree, but it hasn't happened yet -- we really 
need to refactor the code a bit to properly do it.
