Oracle is pleased to announce the general availability of an update to
Oracle VM 2.1. This update is available only from the Unbreakable Linux
Network (http://linux.oracle.com) and contains following updated packages:

This update includes the following changes:
* Qlogic qla2xxx to 8.02.00-k5-ovs2.1.2-00
- Firmware updated to 4.04.05
- Fix for data underrun error
* Emulex lpfc driver updated to 8.2.0.29-1
- Supports LP21000 FCoE
* Dell EqualLogic support
- iscsi updated from Enterprise Linux Update 2
- Added md-dm patches from Enterprise Linux Update 2
* Faster detection of failed server in a HA-enabled environment
* Improved support for non-US English keyboards
* Performance improvement when creating a virtual machine from a template
* Fix for bug that de-selects the HA option in the UI after editing the
Master Pool Server
* Fix for the Oracle VM Manager admin user being unable to change the
user password when SMTP relay not available
Upgrade Process
---------------
To upgrade an Oracle VM Server:
1. Register your system to ULN using your CSI number.
2. Subscribe to the following channel(s):
* Either:
- Oracle VM2 latest (default)
* Or:
- Oracle VM 2.1.2 Server installation media copy
- Oracle VM 2.1.2 Server Patches
3. Run up2date -u
To upgrade an Oracle VM Manager:
Note: This upgrade process will only work if an earlier version of
Oracle VM Manager is already installed.
1. Register your system to ULN using your CSI number.
2. Subscribe to one of the following channels based on your Oracle VM
Manager host operating system/architecture:
