When will updated rpms for the last SLES9 kernel update will be
released?

I needed updated packages for kernel-smp-2.6.5-7.252.i586.rpm  

Can you advice me about the procedure of upgrading the kernel when such
an 'unsupported by Novell' module is loaded in the system?

Last time I did :
-----------
rpm -e oracleasm*
upgrade from SP2 to SP3 (using Yast)
rpm -ivh oracleasm*version_for_the_new_kernel
-----------

Is this the best procedure?

Are there any plans for Novell to integrate ASMLib in SLES9 as they do
for OCFS2 ?
