ocfs2tools on ol6 doesn't follow links in /sys - I submitted a patch for this a week or so ago but it's been not been looked at yet.

All,

I'm looking for a quick how to on configuration for global heartbeats. I had a local heartbeat working just fine but we're going to move forward with many mount points so want to leverage the global heartbeat.

Ocfs2 ver: fsck.ocfs2 1.8.0
Kernel info:   Linux cluster-test2 2.6.39-300.17.1.el6uek.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Oct 19 11:29:17 PDT 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I'm trying to load the drivers and getting this:

Starting global heartbeat for cluster "testcluster": Failed
o2cb: Heartbeat region could not be found C30461B23FF4497BBD11C1E639746309

mounted.ocfs2 -d
Device Stack Cluster F UUID Label
/dev/sdb  o2cb   testcluster  G  C30461B23FF4497BBD11C1E639746309

o2cb list-heartbeats testcluster
heartbeat:
                region = C30461B23FF4497BBD11C1E639746309
                cluster = testcluster

Any information on how to configure this so that the global heartbeat can start?

Thanks,
Jayson
