I believe this.  After running stable for approximately 3 weeks w/drbd and ocfs2 I had a chance to migrate everything over to an RDM device and so far the results have been fantastic.  Ocfs2 has been stable and our performance is excellent.  In the future we may choose to migrate this environment over to physical hardware but in the meantime people are quite satisfied with data delivery on the current VM-based environment.
