Good point. We have to have a CFS for another reason so we figured we would use OCFS2 since we already had it installed and configured.

Why are you even considering using a cluster filesystem (of any kind)
for OCR and Voting disks?  With 11g Clusterware you can use the block
devices of the shared disks (or multipath devices) directly.  There's
no need to complicate things by using a filesystem.
