[Ocfs2-users] Splitting single OCFS2 Volume

OS: Ubuntu 8.04 x64
Kern: Linux n1 2.6.24-24-server #1 SMP Tue Jul 7 19:39:36 UTC 2009 x86_64
GNU/Linux
10 Node Cluster
OCFS2 Version:  1.3.9-0ubuntu1

I am considering splitting a single 1Tera OCFS2 Volume into 10 x 100Gig
OCFS2 Volumes, to improve performance and stability.
Would anyone have any comments or input before I go ahead?
