[Ocfs2-users] Shutdown to single user mode causes SysRq Reset

Well it's not an OCFS2 problem, it's a RAC problem.

Test 1: unmount all ocfs2 filesystems and stop o2cb services on both
nodes. Stop ocfs2 and o2cb from starting and comment out filesystems
in fstab. Repeat the single user mode test on node B. Problem still
exists.

Test 2: shutdown to single user on node 2, stop RAC from starting
(insert exit in all init scripts) and turn off oracleasm service.
Repeat the single user mode test on node B. No problem.

Test 3: Put ocfs2 back as it was on both nodes with RAC and ASM off.
Repeat the test. No problem.

Test 4: Allow ASM to start again and repeat the test. No problem.

Test 5: Allow RAC to start again on node 2 and repeat. The problem
comes back.

It's not killing node A any more. That hasn't happened again today,
but node B dies with a SysRq Resetting every time I go from single
user to multi-user.

Netconsole didn't show me anything new, just the same message as the
iLO console.

I'll carry on with this elsewhere. Thanks for listening.

Rgds,

John
