[Ocfs2-users] OCFS2

Hello:

We have a 3 node cluster, on one of the nodes the LAN cable was
accidentally disconnected, and the node hard booted (i.e. power off/on).
There were no indications from ocfs2 and o2cb status that any thing was
wrong on the other (2) nodes. Once the booted system came back,
mounted.ocfs2 -f showed all file systems mounted on all cluster nodes.
O2cb status indicated the heartbeat was active and all was well. Most
users could log on OK, all except Oracle. Any log on or su - oracle
attempt would hang, along with the databases on these nodes.

We ended up having to reboot all (3) nodes to clear the problem. It was
my understanding if one node in the cluster has problems, the other (2)
will continue without problems. So what went wrong that we had to reboot
all (3) nodes?

Thank You
