[Ocfs2-users] Problems building ocfs2 rpm on Fedora 9

OK, thanks, Tao. My issue is, that I had to use Fedora 9 in order to
get the Firewire technology working. It took me several months to find a
kernel that would recognize my Firewire drive, so I cannot change
kernels at this point. There has to be somebody out there that is on
Fedora 9 that is attempting to do this as well.

I'll see what others have to say. Again, I appreciate your input!

Regards,
Tina

Hi Tina,
Sorry, I am a not RAC expert. So you may have to wait for
Sunil's
suggestion for it.
If you are using Oracle RAC, according to
http://oss.oracle.com/projects/ocfs2/, only ocfs-1.2.* are certified.
The ocfs2 shipped with Fedora 9 may not suitable for a RAC installation.

Regards,
Tao
