[Ocfs2-users] datavolume mount option

datavolume mount option is not in mainline ocfs2. This mount option
is there for backward compatibility for the database.... 9i specifically.

Newer db releases have init.ora parameter, filesystemio_options,
to allow users to specify o_direct/setall.

But that's not all. CRS/RAC requires the mount option too. So if you are
planning the host the votingdisk/ocr on ocfs2, you will require the mount
option. We are still working on getting that resolved within CRS.

Long story short... use ocfs2 1.2 for running the oracle db.
