[Ocfs2-users] Mounting an ocfs2 volume with the datavolume option

Hello list,

I am trying to mount an ocfs2 Voting Disk (for Oracle Rac) volume using the datavolume mount option as per the user guide

e.g. mount -t ocfs2 -o datavolume /dev/sda1 /u01

However mount is reporting that 'datavolume' is not a valid option. I am using Red Hat ES 4.

Is anyone else having the same problem and is the datavolume option necessary as the guide indicates?

TIA

Oscar
