Thanks for your comments, that's really a grace way to solve the problem
by importing kapi-compat for ocfs2-test from ocfs2-1.4 src.

Coly,

It should be a better way to handle such compiling error you encountered
when being compared to any method we discussed before:), with following
patches, now ocfs2-test will use our private splice() version defined in
kapi-compat headers only if the public version in bits/fcntl.h was
unavailable. otherwise, we'd rather use the public one instead.
