Hi.  I am Dave from the EBS Performance team.  I heard that there will be a certification project around using EBS and OCFS2.  I got your name and contact information from bug# 9163548 and was hoping you had some time to answer a few questions.  If you dont have time or are busy to answer them, can you please forward this email to someone in the OCFS2 team?

1) Is OCFS2 considered to be a generic filesystem compared to linux ext2/ext3?  Or is it primarily used just for RAC?
2) Does the kernel driver expose any perf metrics about its performance?  (similar to perf monitor on windows?)
3) Are there are any whitepapers / perf docs / website related to OCFS2 performance vs linux ext2/ext3 vs ASM vs NFS vs RAW devices?
