[Ocfs-users] fileutils question ?? on RHAS 2.1

I am in the process of installing 9i RAC @ dell & emc. Linux kernel is
2.4.9-e.40smp

I need help on verifying the following fileutils and tar package.  There
is different in the package version between "oss" and "redhat" site. I
know that
I need to go to the latest package but my customer insists that the
latest package should come from redhat.

What is the implication of using previous package?
1. fileutils-4.1-10.4 vs. fileutils-4.1-10.19.i386.rpm
2. tar-1.13.25-4.AS21.1 vs. tar-1.13.25-4.AS21.2.i386.rpm
