Synopsis: CU-2.6.18-028stab069.6 can now be patched using Ksplice

Systems running Virtuozzo 4 or the OpenVZ RHEL 5 kernel can now use
Ksplice to patch against the latest Parallels Virtuozzo Containers kernel
update, CU-2.6.18-028stab069.6.

INSTALLING THE UPDATES

We recommend that all users of Ksplice Uptrack on Virtuozzo 4 or OpenVZ on 
RHEL 5, with kernel 2.6.18-028stab069.5, install this update.  Please note 
that kernels older than stab069.5 are not affected by this issue.

You can install this update by running:

# uptrack-upgrade -y

DESCRIPTION

* Disk I/O performance regression due to buggy CFQ requests merging.

The stab069.5 kernel release introduced a problem with the merging of
CFQ requests that resulted in a significant decrease in I/O performance.
