DESCRIPTION

* CVE-2022-22942: Privilege escalation in VMware graphics driver due to use-after-free.

A stale file descriptor flaw could happen when a usercopy of some
objects fails in VMware Linux graphics driver leading to
a use-after-free. A local user could use this flaw to cause
a privilege escalation.

* CVE-2021-22600: Privilege escalation in Packet protocol subsystem due to double-free.

A logic flaw causing a double-free in Packet protocol subsystem could
be exploited by a local user through crafted syscalls. A local user
could use this flaw for a denial-of-service or privilege escalation.

* CVE-2021-45469: Out-of-bounds memory access in Flash-Friendly File System.

An inadequate error handling flaw in Flash-Friendly File System could
lead to an out-of-bounds memory access when an inode has an invalid last
xattr entry. A local user could use this flaw for code execution or
denial-of-service.

* CVE-2021-0920, CVE-2021-4083: Privilege escalation in BSD Unix domain sockets.

Lack of synchronization in BSD Unix domain sockets module could result
in a use-after-free error. A local user could use this flaw to cause
denial-of-service or privilege escalation.

* CVE-2021-4155: Information disclosure in the XFS file system.

A size miscalculation flaw when pre-allocating space in ioctls of the
XFS file system in some situations could allow access to blocks
related to the files that have become unused by the XFS file system.
A local, unprivileged user could use this flaw for information
disclosure.

* CVE-2021-39685: Privilege escalation in the USB Peripheral Controller.

A failure to restrict the size of control requests for certain gadget
types in the USB Peripheral Controller could lead to an out of bounds
memory access. A local user could use this flaw to cause a denial of
service or escalate their privileges.

* CVE-2021-4202: Privilege escalation in NFC Controller Interface.

A race condition flaw in NFC Controller Interface when removing a device
could lead to a use-after-free. A local user could use this flaw to
escalate their privileges.
