Synopsis: USN-7595-1 can now be patched using Ksplice
CVEs: CVE-2024-53124 CVE-2025-21666 CVE-2025-21669 CVE-2025-21670 CVE-2025-21675 CVE-2025-21682 CVE-2025-21692 CVE-2025-21699

Systems running Ubuntu 24.04 Noble can now use Ksplice to patch
against the latest Ubuntu Security Notice, USN-7595-1.

INSTALLING THE UPDATES

We recommend that all users of Ksplice Uptrack running Ubuntu 24.04
Noble install these updates.

On systems that have "autoinstall = yes" in /etc/uptrack/uptrack.conf,
these updates will be installed automatically and you do not need to
take any action.

Alternatively, you can install these updates by running:

# /usr/sbin/uptrack-upgrade -y

* CVE-2025-21666: Null pointer dereference in Virtual Socket protocol driver.

* CVE-2025-21675: Denial-of-service in Mellanox devices driver.

* CVE-2025-21682: Null pointer dereference in Broadcom NetXtreme-C/E driver.

* CVE-2025-21692: Privilege escalation in ETS packet scheduler.

* CVE-2025-21699: Disk corruption in GFS2 filesystem.
