Synopsis: RHBA-2014:0004-1 can now be patched using Ksplice
Systems running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 can now use Ksplice to
patch against the latest Red Hat Bug Fix Advisory, RHBA-2014:0004-1.
INSTALLING THE UPDATES
We recommend that all users of Ksplice Uptrack on RHEL 6 install these
updates.
On systems that have "autoinstall = yes" in /etc/uptrack/uptrack.conf,
these updates will be installed automatically and you do not need to
take any action.
Alternatively, you can install these updates by running:
# /usr/sbin/uptrack-upgrade -y
DESCRIPTION
* Error in the tag insertion logic of the bonding network device.
An error in the tag insertion logic, and bonding handled cases when
a slave device did not have a hardware VLAN acceleration has resulted in
network packets being tagged twice through slave devices without hardware
VLAN tag insertion, and two Solarflare network cards using bonding over a
VLAN did not work properly.
SUPPORT
