[Ksplice][RHEL 5 Updates] End-of-life for OL 5, RHEL 5, CentOS 5, Scientific Linux 5, and CentOSPlus 5

LEGACY KSPLICE CUSTOMERS
On 31st March 2017, vendor support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, CentOS 5,
CentOSPlus 5 and Scientific Linux 5 has ended and no further errata will be
released. After today, legacy Ksplice customers will receive no further
Ksplice updates for their kernels.
ORACLE LINUX PREMIER SUPPORT CUSTOMERS
Under the lifetime support policy for Oracle Linux, Premier Support for
Oracle Linux 5 ends in June 2017 and no further errata will be released.
Customers wishing to remain on Oracle Linux 5 for an extended period may
purchase Oracle Linux Extended Support which will provide critical
security fixes until June 2020.
At the end of Premier Support for Oracle Linux 5, Ksplice updates will
no longer be released and customers without an Extended Support add-on
are advised to upgrade to Oracle Linux 6 or Oracle Linux 7. For
customers with an Extended Support subscription, Ksplice updates will
continue for all Oracle Linux 5.11 kernels (2.6.18-398.el5 and later)
during the Extended Support period.
Beginning In June 2017, the following kernel products will no longer
receive zero-downtime updates via Ksplice:
* All Oracle Linux 5.10 and earlier Red Hat Compatible kernels
(2.6.18-371.12.1.el5 and earlier).
* All Oracle Linux 5.10 and earlier Red Hat Compatible kernels with
Oracle enhancements (2.6.18-371.12.1.0.1.el5 and earlier).
