Synopsis: ELSA-2026-6153 can now be patched using Ksplice
CVEs: CVE-2025-38180 CVE-2025-38323 CVE-2026-23171 CVE-2026-23204 CVE-2026-23209 CVE-2026-23273 CVE-2026-23282

Users with Oracle Linux Premier Support can now use Ksplice to patch
against the latest Oracle Linux Security Advisory, ELSA-2026-6153.

INSTALLING THE UPDATES

We recommend that all users of Ksplice Uptrack running RHCK 9 install
these updates.

On systems that have "autoinstall = yes" in /etc/uptrack/uptrack.conf,
these updates will be installed automatically and you do not need to
take any action.

Alternatively, you can install these updates by running:

# /usr/sbin/uptrack-upgrade -y

* CVE-2025-38180, CVE-2025-38323: Use-after-free in LAN Emulation (LANE) driver.

* CVE-2026-23171: Use-after-free in Bonding driver.

* CVE-2026-23204: Out-of-bounds memory access in U32 network classifer.

* CVE-2026-23209, CVE-2026-23273: Use-after-free in MAC-VLAN driver.

* CVE-2026-23282: Kernel oops in SMB/CIFS client driver.
