[rds-devel] HA over RDS question.

Andy,
        We have system with single IB HCA, two ports, IB bonding.

1. if port-1 fails, four things happen:
        a). the ongoing rds-rdma message will be reported as RDS_RDMA_REMOTE_ERROR or RDS_RDMA_OTHER, other rdma messages will be dropped;
        b). IB bonding migrate to port-2;
        c). RDS re-establish the connection over port-2;
        d). application re-send the dropped rds-rdma message immediately;

        What could be the time order of a),b),c),d) above?

2. Is it possible to send zero byte rds message or zero byte rdma message ?
