[Oracleasm-announce] Oracle ASMLib Kernel Driver 2.0.5 released

All,

We are pleased to announce the release of the Oracle ASMLib kernel
driver version 2.0.5.

This release fixes one bug, Oracle bug #6135457.  When disk devices are
opened and closed repeatedly in rapid succession, the disk lookup code
may accidentally find the wrong disk object.  The fix is to ensure it
has found the right object.  This should not affect any normal operation,
as ASM behavior usually opens each disk object once and never closes it
until the diskgroup is dismounted.

Packages are available on the Unbreakable Linux Network and the Oracle
Technology Network for the most recent distribution kernels.
