
<html><head><style type='text/css'>p { margin: 0; }</style></head><body><div style='font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000'>Hi,<br><br>i upgraded an OEL5.4 to OEL 5.9, this machine has an OCFS Filesystem with an OEL6.2 upgraded to OEL6.4.<br>There i got OCFS1.8 but i don't see any news on <br>https://oss.oracle.com/projects/ocfs2/<br>no release notes, what have changed and so on.<br>OCFS 1.6 is the last version.<br><br>Also after upgrading the o2cb Cluster was unable to come online.<br>So i blocked OEL6 to upgrade ocfs and reinstalled "old" 1.6 RPMs for OEL5.<br><br>so my questions are:<br>1. what are the differences of OCFS 1.8 over 1.6?<br>2. are there any modifications (additional to activating xattr on OCFS1.6) to get the cluster with 1.8 running?<br><br>best regards<br>thomas<br><div><br></div><br></div></body></html>
