1.2.9-1. No point sticking with 1.2.8. 1.2.9 has <br>been out<br>since june. This is a no-brainer.<br><br>To 1.4 or not, with less than 2 weeks before golive, is a harder call. <br>If nothing<br>else, it would also require a kernel upgrade.<br><br>We fix bugs in both releases. Actually, all three when you include the <br>mainline<br>kernel. The one open issue with 1.4 is an EIO when doing odirect ios on an<br>unaligned sized file. This is not in 1.2. It has been fixed in mainline. <br>1.4.2<br>will have the fix.<br><br>The good news is that you can always upgrade to 1.4 later. As in, the ondisk<br>format is the same.
