<P> We are using systems with <FONT face="Courier New">linux version(RHEL4 u5 x86_64). We have 18 * 20GB LUNs from storage accesssible to both nodes. Our requirement is 250GB(5*50GB),150GB etc. for data .Can we create logical volumes (linear/concatenate type )in RHEL4 LVM2 to use with ocfs2 for Oracle RAC and Data files. </FONT></P>

What do I<BR></TT><TT>mean? A RAID-5 setup modifies data outside the block being written, and<BR></TT><TT>so is not cluster safe. A setup that swaps in a hot-spare device is not<BR></TT><TT>safe.
