We are using ocfs2 1.2.3.<br><br>The current cluster.conf is<br><br>cat /etc/ocfs2/cluster.conf<br>node:<br> ip_port = 7777<br> ip_address = 10.10.11.180<br> number = 0<br> name = nodea<br> cluster = ocfs2<br><br>node:<br> ip_port = 7777<br> ip_address =
10.10.11.182<br> number = 1<br> name = nodeb<br> cluster = ocfs2<br><br>cluster:<br> node_count = 2<br> name = ocfs2<br><br><br>I want to remove nodeb from cluster.conf , so that I can add nodec to this cluster.<br><br>From what I have read so far, I see this can't be done dynamically and requires the cluster to be shutdown.<br>Could someone please confirm is the following steps are correct?<br><br>1) Shutdown OEM<br>2) Shutdown database<br>3) Shutdown ASM<br>4) Shutdown CRS<br>5) Shutdown listener<br>6) Shutdown OCFS2 cluster<br>7) Make changes to cluster.conf<br>8) Reboot machine and check if everything comes back up properly.<br><br><div> </div>Sincerely,<br><div>Saranya Sivakumar<div style="font-family: times new roman,new
