trying to set up a 4-Node RAC cluster and the file system we want to go with<br>
is OCFS2. The nodes are IBM e-Series servers and the OS is RH AS 4.3. I could
not find much documentation on Metalink or Oracle about the procedures to
follow for setting up shared ORACLE_HOME.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>I have
previously implemented OCFS1 with 9i R2 ( 9.2.0.6) on RH ES 3.0, so the
Oracle install was done on all the nodes. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>I request
you to share any experience, notes and documents that can help me in
uderstanding the nuances of setting up Oracle RAC ( 9206 ) using shared home on
RH AS 4.3.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Can
we still set up individual homes using OCFS2 even though it supports
shared oracle home ?<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
