Thank you for the reply. May I ask you some questions? I am
very interested in OCFS2 as my university here wants to migrate both
non-Oracle and Oracle based systems to RH Linux. We have many 10g,
9i instances.<br><br>
1) Is OCFS2 officially released? From your reply, it seems so
for SAP.<br>
2) Do you run web front end applications on a OCFS2 cluster?<br>
3) How many nodes is your SAP cluster.<br>
4) Where is the configuration documents on how to set up non-Oracle
applications?<br><br>

I am familiar with the good old days of Digital OpenVMS cluster and<br>
HP's TruCluster where I believe most of the clustering technology of<br>
RAC came from. I understand that this new version OCFS2 is a

purpose cluster software. I am interested to hear if anyone here
has<br>
been running non-Oracle applications under OCFS2 on all the nodes<br>
active-active and if he/she has tried out failover of application,
etc.<br><br>
