Absolutely. Not sure what you mean by overwriting them. If you’re doing this to get a daily snapshot of your data and only keep the last 7, then you can simply delete the earliest one when you create the next one. The reflinked blocks on disk will remain because they’re still referenced by the other 7 reflinks.
