CLOUDLINUX

*Ksplice Uptrack for CloudLinux

Ksplice is happy to announce support for CloudLinux! Many of you have
asked about this new Linux distribution, aimed at hosting providers,
with a new way of managing resource consumption among multiple VPS
users. We're happy to announce that Ksplice Uptrack now fully supports
CloudLinux! Your account now has access to rebootless CloudLinux
updates, for the same price as Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS --
starting at $3.95 a month. Please keep letting us know how we can best
keep you up-to-date!

NEW UPTRACK FEATURES

*Access policies

Do you subscribe to Ksplice Uptrack on machines on which another
company also has root access? If so, you might want to enable a new
Ksplice account option that gives you greater control over new
subscriptions created using your access key. You can, for example,
set up your account so that all new subscriptions created using your
access key must be specifically approved at the Ksplice web interface
before those machines can access Ksplice.

*Ksplice Uptrack API

Want programmatic monitoring access to your machines? The Ksplice
Uptrack API allows you to programmatically query the status of your
machines running Ksplice Uptrack.

You can interface directly with the REST API or you can download
Ksplice's Python bindings and start coding! The Python bindings
include example scripts to get you started.

*Nagios plugin support

Want Nagios monitoring? You can now easily integrate Uptrack
monitoring into your existing Nagios infrastructure with Nagios
plugins that use the Ksplice Uptrack API. The Uptrack API Python
bindings include a sample Nagios plugin that monitors for out of date,
inactive, and unsupported machines.
