[Ksplice][RHEL8-Updates] New Ksplice updates for RHEL 8 (4.18.0-372.13.1)

Synopsis: 4.18.0-372.13.1 can now be patched using Ksplice
CVEs: CVE-2022-27666

Systems running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 can now use Ksplice to
patch against the latest Red Hat kernel update, 4.18.0-372.13.1.

INSTALLING THE UPDATES

We recommend that all users of Ksplice Uptrack running RHEL 8 install
these updates.

On systems that have "autoinstall = yes" in /etc/uptrack/uptrack.conf,
these updates will be installed automatically and you do not need to
take any action.

Alternatively, you can install these updates by running:

# /usr/sbin/uptrack-upgrade -y


DESCRIPTION

* CVE-2022-27666: Privilege escalation in IPsec ESP transformation.

A logic flaw in the IPsec ESP transformation implementation could lead to
a heap buffer overflow. A local user could use this flaw to overwrite
kernel heap objects and cause privilege escalation.
