Hi,

As far as I know both hangcheck timer and watchdog timer will monitor
and reset the system in case this one hangs.

The major difference from my point of view is that hangcheck is a
piece of software that will automatically monitor the system when a
hardware or software watchdog timer have to be restarted from time to
time.

Why will I want to use hangchek timer instead of a watchdog timer?
