Interesting sequence of errors logged though, caused by a problematic
cable...

Yesterday I had, what seemed to be, minor errors reported by the kernel
about memory (faulty hardware or old firmware). Reported it and while
waiting for action from support and the vendor, lost an OCFS LUN - was
there one minute, and a reboot later the OCFS LUN was destroyed,
partition table filled with junk. Only conclusion is that corrupted
memory caused the ocfs2 kernel driver to write junk to the LUN.

So yeah.. h/w errors have a nasty habit of biting back hard
unexpectedly.
