Hi all,

I have 2 linux boxes kernel 2.6.18-53.el5.
I would like to use external firewire hard drive (Firewire hard drive
is Maxtor onetouch II
) for RAC.
I added /etc/modprobe.conf file:
options sbp2 exclusive_login=0
One box can access to external firewire drive, but the second box
can't access to it.
When server reboot, second box didn't modprobe firewire_core,
firewire_sbp2 and sbp2. I manually modprobed them and run command cat
/proc/scsi/scsi but there aren't output from the firewire hard drive

Could you please help?

Please read information from the output below

[root at linux1 ~]# lsmod|egrep "ohci1394|sbp2|sd_mod|ieee1394" (after modprobed)
firewire_sbp2 16453 0
firewire_core 42241 1 firewire_sbp2
sbp2 23048 0
ohci1394 32964 0
ieee1394 83252 2 sbp2,ohci1394
sd_mod 24897 0
scsi_mod 132685 5 sg,firewire_sbp2,sbp2,libata,sd_mod

[root at linux1 ~]# dmesg|grep sbp2 (no output)

[root at linux1 ~]# dmesg|grep ieee1394

ieee1394: sbp2: Driver forced to serialize I/O (serialize_io=1)
ieee1394: sbp2: Try serialize_io=0 for better performance

[root at linux1 ~]# cat /proc/scsi/scsi (no output)
