The section in "man 7 signal" on "Interruption of system calls" may be
informative.

This is the first time I've ever found -EINTR *useful* rather than a
blasted annoyance :)

Fixed. (I honestly have no idea how you detect this stuff. Some
scripting, or by-eye checks of every affected file after diff
application?)
