I *do* keep these somewhere else. We have a package repository for that.
 In an earlier thread re: AppArmor compatibility, I said I was fine with
the distros taking responsibility here. Chris asked for the
compatibility patches. In this case, a compat.c would
probably make it easier to rip out later, though.
