The JE 5.0.84 update contains several enhancements as well as a number
of important bug fixes. All changes are described in the change log.
We recommend that anyone using JE 5 upgrade to 5.0.84. The enhancements
include:

  * Statistics are now automatically written the je.stat.csv files and
configuration is written to je.config.csv. These new files can be
opened in spreadsheet applications and used for troubleshooting and
performance tuning. These files should be included in support requests.
  * Performance has been improved when using SyncPolicy.SYNC or
SyncPolicy.WRITE_NO_SYNC. These modes are most often used with
SSDs, although the improvements apply to spinning disks as well.
The improvements for these modes on HA replica nodes are available
without any additional configuration, although new configuration
parameters can be used for tuning. There are also improvements when
using these modes on an HA master node (or standalone JE node),
although additional configuration is needed to enable the optimizations.
  * Added support for non-replicated Databases and EntityStores in a
    replicated (HA) environment.
  * Made it possible to run a JE HA application on a fully disconnected
node, with no available network interface.

See the change log for more details on these enhancements and for
information on a number of important bug fixes.
