Oracle+Open Source Scripting Languages

Open-source scripting languages such as PHP, Ruby, Groovy, and Python are increasingly used by developers on top of Oracle (as are their associated frameworks). The availability of the free Oracle Database 10g Express Edition (XE) makes those combinations even easier. (See the PHP page for more information about that language specifically.)
