Oracle BUG | 5531591 | ASMLIB NOT DISCOVERING MULTIPATH DEVICE. |
Resolves: [ora 5531591]: ASMLIB, as a "non root" user makes an ioctl(, BLKSSZGET, .) to the devices that are configured to be managed by ASMLIB. md_ioctl was returning EACCESS for any non root user. This restriction has been relaxed to allow the non root users to do some non privileged operations on these devices.
